The site contains reviews, upcoming events, explanations of different poetic forms, and plenty of poems for kids.
My name is George and I am a UK children’s poet based in Hemel Hempstead.
I have a degree in English Literature and have been writing poems for the last 30 years.
I have self-published a number of children’s poetry books, including ‘Moo-Moo The Doodle’, ‘Don’t Trick Or Treat A Lion’ and ‘Summer Poems For Children’.
My writing is inspired by my 7 year old daughter and 11 year-old step-son, and they have also contributed poems to some of my published books.
I have run a number of poetry workshops in schools, libraries and Scout Groups, and I am currently developing some more creative packages to pitch in the near future.
